The book is an excellent introduction into tablet-weaving. Even if it is written in Finish, the illustrations explain so well, that even without understanding the text, it is possible to learn the basics.
Maikki has develloped her own way of designing patterns for tablet-weaving, which works very well and which she also uses in her other books (see Tablet-Woven Treasures, Art. 7.11.166)
