Art. 1.449, 100% spanish mulesing free Merino wool, on spools of 100 g
Weaving: As warp and weft yarn for fine cloths, scarves, etc
Tabby 8 - 12 threads/cm
Twill 12 - 16 threads/cm
This wool can easily doubled for thicker fabrics. Steam t hroroughly after weaving.
Knitting: Suitable for machine knitting. Gentle handwashing recommended! Do not squeeze or twist. After washing lay flat on a cloth to dry.
Felting and fulling: Merino 30/2 has normal felting properties. However, not all colors felt in the same way. We recommend makin a sample for every new color to determine appropriate felting treatment and handling.
Take a few meters of wool and knead it with soap and water. You will see immediately if the wool is felting or not. It is also possible to hand wind the yarn and wash it in the maschine at 40°
